Blaze Satan Fury MC Memphis Chapter Book 1 edition by L Wilder Lisa Cullinan Mayhem Cover Creations Literature Fiction eBooks

Blaze was the first book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC - Memphis Chapter. It was a spin off from her Satan’s Fury series. We met the Memphis Chapter in Clutch, book four and more recent in Diesel, book eight. I loved the original series and I had high expectations for this one as well!

Sawyer “Blaze” Mathews was a patched member of the MC. He was a single father raising his eight year old son who was in remission from cancer. Loyalty and family were everything to him. He loved his family and his MC and he had no time or interest in adding to it with a relationship.

Kenadee Brooks was an ER nurse. She had met Blaze in a chance meeting at a diner and then again at the hospital with his son. The chemistry was off the charts but she was apprehensive starting anything with an MC member.

Wilder took us through the initial interactions, the friendship building and the relationship development. She also set the ground work for the MC. I enjoyed the bonding, loyalty and the suspenseful plot that she weaved. It was central to the storyline and kept me turning the pages to find out what was next. It added depth, complexity and dimension to the storyline.

In the end, it was well written, well developed and I was craving more. Although I enjoyed both Blaze and Kenadee tremendously, the suspenseful plot was what continued to draw me in. Some was concluded but the underlying theme will continue as the foundation for the series. The mysterious and quiet Shadow is next up and I can’t wait.

Blaze Satan Fury MC Memphis Chapter Book 1 edition by L Wilder Lisa Cullinan Mayhem Cover Creations Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I really like this book, I read all of her original Satan Fury MC and Devil Chasers MC and I have high hopes for the Satan's Fury MC Memphis series, Blaze is a real good read, a little different from her other MC series but good all the same. Will be starting Shadow and really looking forward to reading it. Wishing L. Wilder the best with this new series!!
This was one of the best MC books I've read. Thought it started out rather slowly but the characters brought it to life. Kenadee an ER nurse and Blaze a member of Satan's Fury meet again when Blazes son is admitted for an injury playing football. There is instant attraction between the two, but they both wonder if Kenadee could handle this club life of danger, secrets, loose women, and illegal activities. This series is just beginning and I look forward to more of Wilder's books.
The Memphis chapter of Satan's Fury has started off with a bang. Leslie Wilder has developed the characters in the chapter so well that it feels like you know them. You will love Kenadee's feisty spirit because she is custom made for Blaze. She has ups and downs of learning to deal with club life, but she gets there. Blaze is hot and domineering, but he is soft enough when he needs to be. The Memphis chapter of SF are in for some storms, but they will get thr it because that's what family does.
Ok every time I get a MC book from L Wilder , I think ok they can not get any better than this one and everytime she writes a new one I am totally wrong and fall in love with the new one, Blaze is no exception.
This book has Blaze and Kenadee meeting each other, and just from looking at each other across the bar the sparks start flying , then when they meet in a professional environment it is more intense. Blaze only worries if she can handle his world or not .
Blaze is the first book in L.Wilder's Satan's Fury MC- Memphis Chapter series.

Blaze is a member of the Satan's Fury MC in Memphis, Tennessee. He's also a single father running a car garage for the club.

Kenadee Brooks is an ER nurse who's used to the fast pace life style. She see's good in the world and steer's clear of anything or anyone that could mean trouble.

When Blaze's son has an accident they meet again and sparks fly. When danger comes the MC's way can Blaze keep her safe? Will Kenadee even let him try?

L. Wilder does such an amazing job with Blaze. It has everything you could want to open a series plenty of action, no cliff hangers, and HEA. I'm excited to see what book 2 has in store.
My only complaint is I feel it lacked some of the excitement that most of her books had. It was slightly predictable and “safe.” The author had several occurrences she could have put some “edge of your seat” excitement into but merely skimmed over them. All in all, it was a good storyline, had a sweet HEA and the steamy scenes were, well, steamy!
I liked the characters for the most part but the story felt rushed and I also felt like it was missing things... more thought could have been put into this storyline. For one thing.... The girls made a big thing (in girl world) about a certain dr. asking Kenadee out.... but it never happens.... a whole plot twist could have been made out of that... like he was in with the rival gang and wanted Kenadee to himself blahblahblah.... not enough focus was given to Kevin in my opinion....Blaze has strong feelings for Kenadee but he wasn't going to include her in the lockdown but Runt was going to bring Robyn in...wth...and if Robyn new something was wrong why the hell didn't she ask about Runt when he didn't show up??? She had a pity party instead... she could have at least asked Kenadee if she heard anything about Runt since her whole reason for not saying anything was now non existent (Kenadee was now with Sawyer). This one didn't mesh well.... it had great potential yet somehow the author managed to make it die an agonizing death.... I hope the next one is better...I already nixed one author from my list I would hate to have to do another.
